Description

The care and welfare requirements of birds of prey sometimes run counter-intuitively to the needs of other animals in the care of man.

This course will give you a basic understanding of the care and welfare needs of birds of prey with plenty of examples of good and bad practice.

Each lesson deals with a specific topic such as: tethering, water, enrichment etc. and describes how and why things are done the way they are, and how you can spot potential issues relating to licensing and the law.

Based on our popular one-day face to face courses this online course can either be used as an easy starter for those with little or no knowledge of birds of prey, or as a handy refresher course for those who have already been to a one-day course

The course attracts CPD hours/points.
